A practitioner’s musings on Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

About 2.0

I’ve always believed in doing things differently. Challenges inspire me, and I thrive in demanding environments where creative problem-solving is key. My current philosophy is built around a simple question — “Why not?” — a reminder to stay open to possibilities and innovation.

I’m an expert in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, with deep experience on both the functional and technical sides. Over the years, I’ve helped organizations design, customize, and optimize D365 solutions that truly align with their business needs. Whether it’s implementation, integration, or performance improvement, I enjoy finding practical and elegant solutions.

I’m a self-learner, self-starter, and solution provider by nature. My curiosity extends beyond ERP systems — into philosophy, Stoicism, and human behavior. These perspectives often shape how I think about technology, leadership, and life. I draw inspiration from Stoic philosophy — focusing on what’s within my control and letting go of outcomes. This mindset keeps me grounded, both in business and in life.

Outside the tech world, I express my reflections through writing, blogging, and podcasting in Urdu and Hindi on my YouTube channel, where I share book summaries and life lessons. I follow Gary Vaynerchuk’s philosophy — “Document, don’t create.” I document what I read, learn, and experience, because human history, at its heart, is a retelling of timeless stories. In times of adversity, we simply discover new meanings in the same old truths.

Every day, I try to reinvent myself — learning, adapting, and improving one step at a time.

My work with D365 Finance and Operations is more than a career — it’s my passion. I’m also deeply interested in Personal Knowledge Management (PKM) and digital organization systems. I build and refine my notes in Obsidian, plan and execute projects in Notion, and manage my professional tasks using Agile methodologies. Currently, my focus is on complete project management and Agile ERP implementations, particularly within the Finance and Supply Chain Management domains.

My Mission

To bridge technology and human insight — using D365 to empower businesses and philosophy to empower people.
